Little Bears-
The Little Bears class is for toddlers who are two by September first. This class provides a safe-fun and Christ-centered environment for young children. These children enjoy a developmentally-appropriate environment with intentional teachers who provide lessons focused on each child's personal growth and development. The Little Bears learn a new theme each month, a new color, a Bible story, and participate in special events that brighten up their days! The classroom environment provides carefully designed centers which reflect our philosophy that play is fundamental to learning. Learning through the senses is an important part of the Little Bear class curriculum. We teach to foster growth in the cognitive, social/emotional/ physical/ language and spiritual areas of each child's life!
Winkie Bears-
The Winkie Bears class is for children who are turning three years of age by September first. The Winkie Bears class provides an early-childhood educational environment full of joy and interaction. These children enjoy a developmentally-appropriate environment with intentional teachers who provide lessons focused on each child's personal growth and development. This classroom offers a play-centered environment with centers for each child's enjoyment and growth. The Winkie Bears are learning basic skills that will strengthen their fine and gross motor skills, as well as expose them to literature and the wonder of God's Word. Learning through the senses is an important part of the Winkie Bear experience. We teach to foster growth in the cognitive, social/emotional/ physical/ language and spiritual areas of each child's life!
Peter Panda -
The Peter Panda class is for children who will turn four years of age by September first. This is pre-kindergarten classroom with a delicately blended balance of play and academics that will prepare each child for kindergarten. Children in the Peter Panda class enjoy carefully prepared centers, along with both child-directed and teacher-directed instruction. Peter Panda provides an early-childhood educational environment full of joy and interaction with caring teachers. Our teachers provide intentional lessons that reflect a sincere concern for every child's physical, social/emotional/ cognitive/ language and spiritual growth. The Heggerty Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum is used in this class. Bible stories are carefully integrated within each classroom theme. Kid Writing® is also an important part of the Peter Panda classroom as the children learn to write in journals and prepare for kindergarten.
