The Winkie Bear's class is for children who are turning three years of age by September first. 

The Winkie Bear's class provides an early-childhood educational environment full of joy and interaction.  These children enjoy a developmentally-appropriate environment with intentional teachers who  provide leearning opportunities focused on each child's personal growth and development.

The Winkie Bear's room offers a play-centered environment with centers for each child's enjoyment and growth.  We believe that play is an essential part of a child's social and emotional growth. The Handwriting Without Tears® literacy curriculum is used in this class incorporating large and small muscle experiences. The Winkie Bears are learning basic skills that will strengthen their fine and gross motor skills, as well as expose them to literature and the wonder of God's Word.

Learning through the senses is an important part of the Winkie Bear experience and they enjoy sensory based experiences that lead to discovery.  Art, music and movement are an integral part of the learning process in the Winkie Bear's class. We teach to foster growth in the cognitive, social/emotional/physical/language and spiritual areas of each child's life!
